#10 Roti Kirai (or Roti Jala)

Hii! So I mentioned in the previous post that I would be posting on roti kirai in my next post, which is exactly what I am going to do now. You should definitely try as it is very easy and sooo delicious to eat with chicken curry!

Ingredients

1 packet of plain flour
1 egg
a pinch of salt to taste
water
1 tablespoon of tumeric

Instrcutions

Beat all these ingredients up. As for the water, put in slowly until you get a semi thick mixture, but not so thick. Liquid form but can be considered thick. Looks like a pancake batter.

It's recommended you buy this squeeze bottle, to easily make roti kirai coz if you use the old school method, it would be very messy. Heat up just a little bit of oil in the pan and do your magic with the bottle. Just "scribble" the pan with the mixture! Let the thing cook for about 30 minutes, dab some oil on it (for fragrance I suggest use a pandan leaf *tips from dad*) and then flip it over. Cook for another 30 seconds or so, and you are done! :)
