#14 Kentang Goreng Belado

Salam ramadhan to all my muslim followers. It has been a while since I updated but I have 3 recipes to update. Just couldn't find the time to do so. This is a simple side dish I made for ifthar today just to satisfy my cravings.

Ingredients:

5 potatoes (peeled and sliced thinly)
About 12 mini cucumbers (sliced thinly)
*this ingredient is optional but it's reallly nice to eat so you should put it in!*
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 small onion (cut into quarters)
About 5 dried chillies (snipped and boiled)
3 chilli padi *optional as well*
Salt
Oil

Instructions:

First of all, fry your potatoes lightly so that it would cook easily later on. About 40 seconds or so?
Then take your dried chillies that has been boiled,  blend together with the onion, to get a chilli paste. Once your potatoes are done frying, toss the oil using kitchen towel.

Meanwhile, heat another pan up, add in some oil, sauté your chilli paste and also the garlic. Once you can smell the aroma rising, put in your potatoes and stir fry it until all the potatoes are covered in sambal (chilli paste). Then you snip in the chilli padi into small pieces using scissors and continue to stir. Add in some salt to taste, and then put in your cucumbers last so as to maintain the crunchiness of the cucumber. Add salt to taste, about half a teaspoon? Stir for about a minute more to make sure the whole thing is covered with the sambal, then off the fire. :)

Yeah, you are done. It is THAT simple. Happy trying! :)
